Give public interest a clear course toward action.

An issue page gives residents, members and decision-makers their bearings. We examine how the message sets direction, what action it asks for and whether each response reaches the team responsible.

Give every response a destination.

Charting the course

01 / Issue

Set a clear heading for the issue.

A public message must hold up beyond a headline. We would examine how an issue is explained on its landing page, where readers can find the underlying context, and whether the requested action is specific enough to understand.

02 / Audience

Chart a response path for each audience.

Residents, members and decision-makers may arrive with different questions. We would compare the routes that bring them to an issue with what each page asks them to do, then check whether a call, form or registration goes to the team prepared to handle it.

03 / Follow-through

Steer by actions the team can verify.

Page visits, conversations and policy outcomes are separate measures. Counting one does not establish the others. We would define what can be observed, how responses are routed, and which questions the campaign team still cannot answer. Those bearings help the team decide where to focus next.
